Of course not. They will screw it up, as they always do, and find something or someone to blame.

The Cubs will have to win 3 out of the next 4 and that will be difficult to do against a team like the Diamondbacks that can shut anyone down with their very good pitching.

I didn't see the game (past my bedtime, sorry), but I have no idea why Lou Pinella would yank his ace after 6 solid innings. Word was that he wanted Zambrano to be fresh for Game 4 of the NLDS. The Cubs have to REACH Game 4 for Zambrano to be used.

i think they are done. they look flat offensively. webb was too predictable with his pitches. first pitch "get me over" fastball for strike 1. then he just threw his sinker/change in the dirt. they all bit on it. all took strike one and ended up swinging at ka ka.
hopefully they play better...they just looked surprised that webb would throw a 1-2 or 0-2 sinker in the dirt.

It isn't panic time, folks. They lost ONE game. They have to lose three in order to be out of it. Simple math. :)
Obviously tonight they probably really need to win but still aren't out of it if they do.

I think they will be able to bounce back..................... as long as they don't go back to Chicago down by 2 games
