Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid - even though you don't actually see them die.
(Butch - "For a moment there I thought we were in trouble.")
Hey! I found it dramatic, so why do I get 2 thumbs downs???

Not exactly death, but near enough - Jack Nicholson in One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest. As the trouble maker Randall McMurphy in a psych ward, he is given a full frontal labotamy. His personality and life force are removed from him against his wishes.
Other ones that get me are the heroes of Easy Rider - gunned down by rednecks for being different.
And of course the hippy leader in Hair - sorry, forgotten the characters name! He takes the place in the army camp of the straight laced character (whose name I have also forgotten!) so he can lose his virginity to the girl he likes. While he is there they are shipped out to Vietnam. Especially poignant because he disagrees with the war, and has burned his call up card, but still sacrifices himself for his friend.

When Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker dies in The Return of the Jedi. Luke fights hard because he is sure that there must be SOME good in his dad and he is right. Vader/Skywalker dies, but he is sort of redeemed because he dies to save his son. It's so sad and beautiful at the same time.

Jean Reno in Leon. A bit bloody before hand but when he dies and you're looking through his eyes its very touching. Especially as he's just saved little Matilda (Natalie Portman) who he's grown to love as a daughter.

I cherished the dying in the hills have eyes 2 (1985), whilst the adult adult males sees a capture, and effectively avoids it, in straightforward terms to shout in triumph and commence up yet another capture. throughout his shout of triumph, the different capture drops a boulder on his head. That became extraordinarily humorous. the main painful to observe (for adult adult males) became the final torture in Hostel section 2. shall we purely leave it on the reality that it became a photograph castration. yet another stable one became in the action picture intense stress. A adult adult males gets his head shoved between the rungs of a few stairs (so he cant get his head out) and the killer takes a table or some thing and rams it into his head (decapitating him). playstation You get a celebrity. i admire this question
