I get married next friday and am due on this weekend, I want to know if there is anything a doctor could give me to stop my period this month?
I really do not want to be on my period on my wedding night!

unless u are on the pill now the only thing u can do to stop next week is to not have a break on your pill just go onto the next set of pills
alot are saying to go on the pill but if you arent on the pill now you need to have started after a period and maybe be on it for a few months you take a 7 day break on the pill to allow your period to come but if you dont take the break your period doesn't come .

Good Luck with the wedding by the way! :-)

Are you taking the pill? If so, don't take the inactive pills and just start a new pack.
Since you aren't on the pill and you don't want to mess up your cycle case you two are trying to have a baby. Then I would suggest having your period and using a menstrual cup. You can buy them in most major drug stores (such as CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens). This will allow you to get your period and be able to enjoy your wedding night. The cups are safer than tampons, can be worn up to 12 hours and can be worn DURING sex, without any leakage. I've used them before.

Being on the pill for a time if the doctor says ok can delay your period.

Yes sure there is...just tell him that you what to control your period and he'll just prescribe you a birth control pill, which will help you regulate your period so that you won't get it on your wedding.
As easy as pie :-)
Tc and congratulations!

Nothing you can do without taking pills to stop it.
You DO know you can have fun while on your period right?
Don't let it run your life.

You are pretty late in asking this. Instead of postponing, you should have periods intime so they are over before w. day.
Wishing you a very very happy and long married life!

Unless you want to get pregnant on your honeymoon I wouldn't suggest that you alternate the naturally occurring cycle of your monthly. Allow nature to take its course, you will have plenty time to get jiggy.
