Turn off at the mains for at least a minute and THEN turn it back on - and whilst you're waiting for that minute, ask yourself why you had to post half a page of nothingness before you completed the question! ! !

I'm afraid contrary to believe analogue is better quality than digital, which is prone to freezing, many triggers include cold or hot weather, motorbikes going past and so forth, its appalling, when ours freezes the on and off button on the machine doesn't even work so we have no choice but to switch it off at the mains, wait a moment or two then switch it back on, its a pain in the butt, I hope they are going to sort this out before the permanent switch over, I can imagine alot of disgruntled people if their box should freeze right at a crucial point in a football match etc!!!!

Turn your television off and on, if that doesn't work, try retuning some of the programmes need to be retuned ready for the "switch over"

You need to turn it off at the plug then turn it back on- that usually works for me
