No, because I cannot honestly tell you anything that I have done for my country in the name of civic duty ever since I was a Camp Fire Girl 30+ years ago.
To be a proud citizen, I feel that a person should be contributing to their community, city, state, and nation. I don't really do that. I think that most people I know don't do that. America has turned into a country full of selfish, greedy, isolated hermits hovering over computers late at night and not bothering to ever consider volunteering for our country.
What is there to be proud of? That we were born here?
I just call that luck.

Proud to be from the USA? YES. But I am losing my pride every day. Our DICTATORSHIP excuse of a government is taking away so many freedoms/rights each and every day.
Just a few examples. I MUST wear my seat belt, I MUST wear my helmet, I CAN'T smoke in many if not all PUBLIC Places and a few exceptions for my own home. There is talk of making a few more such as I CANNOT have a passenger UNDER 18 on my motorcycle. EXCUSE ME!? I just got word on this one yesterday. OUR DICTATORS now want to make it a law that ALL MY AMMUNITION for my guns must be identifiable with serial numbers. Another one if I have a verbal exchange of words on the road while driving my truck I can be charged. What ever happened to my rights to keep and bear arms, which INCLUDES my ammo? There are so many other but I could ramble on and on here. Whatever happened to my rights to FREEDOM of SPEECH?.BUT WE the people of America had better WAKE UP before it is TOO LATE.

Not at all. Especially if I consider the way some had been given the same citizenship as mine. Will you mind just a small notice: One is a citizen of a state, it is a political allegiance. While country is a geographic term with no link to citizenship neither to politics.

Of course not, whats to be proud of?
I'm proud of my achievements, not that by some accident of birth I'm in Australia.
You might as well ask are you proud to be a human, are you proud to be a woman/man, are you proud to be white/black/brown etc.
