Wow, I'm so busted all the time, yep it worked, I skived PE and whole days off school and I never got found out till after i married when my mum was cleaning out my cupboard and found all my practice notes, I would have been in so much trouble if caught whilst still at school.

I never forged hand writing but i used to get a friend to phone the school pretending to be my mother saying i had an appointment i needed to leave school for, this worked for about six months until a teacher who had actually met my mother answered the call and stated she knew my friend wasn't my mother as my mother is Scottish and my friend had a local accent. What a scream, even my mother laughed at the ingenuity of the situation after she calmed down x

Whenever I got detention, I used to forge their signature on the detention slip that stated they knew about it. Then I used to pass it off as having been to a club, or the train was late. Never did get found out!

No but my daughter did something like that.
She copied no-homework slips on a copy machine so she had a whole stack of them.
The teacher figured it out when she used them all the time and the teacher's signature was exactly the same.
She never did it again.
I sign my husband's name all the time and I can't even tell the difference.

I am a dab hand at my mum's signature - don't copy it anymore but used it to get out of PE! Also when letters were sent back from school regarding me skipping school I intercepted them cos my mum left early for work!
To this day she is unaware of that! If my kids did it I would kill them - hence the reason my signature is a scrawl, harder to copy!

Yep to get out of going in the shower after PE. It was a communal shower and I was really prissy about other people seeing me naked. They looked you up and down and everything it was awful.
The teacher pulled me to one side one day and said 'on my count you've had 3 periods in the last 5 weeks'. BUSTED. So I ended up being the last one in and the first one out. It's not like I had scars or anything to be embarassed about. I had a good figure and everything but I hated it.
