Or get out as soon as possible.
The French had the problem of large numbers of well-established settlers. The US doesn't have this reason to stay on.

What would you expect us to learn and, why. We weren't there so why should we have any thing to say about it.

I may be guessing but, this was between the French Foreign Legion, a part of France but not associated with France? whenever they made a mistake they were to take the blame and not France, am I right?

I guess america could learn to either fight terrorism with terrorism, or give up. I don't see much else we havent allready been doing.
