wager you all have not watched immediately's newscasts, as they did locate "weapons of mass destruction". So now, could you all ask for forgiveness for calling Bush a liar? he's making an attempt to assist Iraq rid themselves of terrorists so as that they'd stay a non violent and superb useful you and people do. He could be praised for attempting to assist non-people get a respectable existence. What if those terrorists have been in our back backyard placing off bombs in libraries, eating places, faculties, streets, and so on.? you would be wanting u . s . a . or yet another usa to assist. And approximately Clinton, he replaced into getting paid via this usa's taxpayers at a similar time as he replaced into "doing his element with Monica" interior the White domicile, no much less. a minimum of he would have been on his very own time and someplace else. He certainly disgraced the White domicile which maximum people sense is somewhat sacred and a place of honor for whomever is President. it is hassle-free to be certain which one represents a frontrunner we could continually be pleased with attempting to assist others. Bush isn't a wimp like John Kerry and the different Democrats that prefer to "decrease and run". the US has by no potential carried out that and should not now.

I don't think Aussies have ever had any confidence in the US or George W Bush and even less so that we can know about your foriegn policy and the way that the American Government has treated other countries when they have been in disagreement with them. America tries to come across as the good guys of this world and if you disagree with them then you are obviously wicked or evil. If the truth be known all countries fall short of perfection and therefore have no right to judge another.

To tell you the truth I have never had much confidence in the US as a world power. They do very badly as far as foreign policy and have always done so. They always seem to shoot first and ask questions later and have little regard for the effect that their actions have in the world at large. I think the war in Iraq and the abysmal performance of the US economy is causing us to get nervous. And from where we stand the US seems to be doing s.f.a. about getting things back on track. Our PM's love affair with GW has got us into a situation that we did not want and that we may have difficulty getting out of.

It's not just Australia, Bush doesn't stir up a lot of respect anywhere, even among conservative voters in other countries.

The US doesn't care what the rest of the world thinks, however, and it's not like we can do one thing to influence anyone who would vote for him or his policies or his buddies.

I've been thinking lately that a lot of the disenchantment people are feeling towards Howard has started since him and George got so pally.

I don't think Australians like to see our alliance sold away for a barbecue invitation.

As for Spatiate, sure, you can do without us ~ but just what are you going to put into those warheads of yours if it's not our uranium?

Cheers :-)

Yes i do. When wars are fought and thousands of lives lost so that a select few can make a LOT of money, then anyone would be prone to lose confidence in this. Immoral and highly unethical monsters like George Bush ultimately wont be remembered kindly by history, but his buddies will be laughing all the way to the bank, so why should he care.

I went to Australia in 2004 and not one soul liked the United States. I swear to GOD, not one soul!

This article is a tad late.

*OK, I've had it up to here with the idiots that think I LITERALLY mean EVERY AUSSIE HATED AMERICANS!

NO! Obviously not! I don't care about that one guy in Apartment 3A in Melbourne that loved the USA! I'm talking about the majority of people I dealt with!

Americans are so stupid!

I did not have time to read the article but I will say that the majority of Australians disaprove of Bush and the US.
Australians are by nature a pacifist people and became tired of US agressions. We want peace, with or without the US. Period.

The perceived errors in Iraq prompted the Australians to lose confidence in the US and President Bush as to how the Americans intervenes or handles international affairs.
