as long as you have all the tools take the old door of and use it as an exact template, clamp the old door and the new door together after removing metal work of the old door.
electric saw and plane the new door to the same size, moving clamps where necessary to access each side. but never unclamping the door totally until both doors are the same and hinges cut.
if you want the new door to be slightly different in size before removing it, whilst closed mark on the old door where it needs to be different.

tools required if door needs to be made smaller
a saw pref electric jigsaw
hand plane.
for cutting hinges a sharp chisel

to chop the lock in drill out as much as possible then finish with a chisel.
can even screw the new and the old door together if no clamps. the holes in the new door will be tiny, if a wooden door the holes left in the new door if not drilled out will mostly disappear with a few drops of water placed in the hole the wood expands.hard woods take longer to absorb the water.

i live in the uk and you wont get a mill shop to cut the hinges etc, and the houses around here are anything but square.

Measure existing door. Note where the hinges are located. Find a new door with similar measurements and hinge placement.

Remove pins from hinge. Remove old door. Hang new door and insert hinge pins. adjust strike plate if necessary.
