So I'm not a dirty person. I don't think he has noticed it yet. But it makes me feel dirty. Can anyone offer any advice? Thank you

I would douch and after you use that douch refill it with plane water a couple times in the same shower. this will dry you up so don't have sex at least for a couple hours after you do this. yes you can get yeast infection if you douch to much but like once a month should be fine. everyone is different I do not always use the douch its self I douch once a week but I dump it out and use just water instead then once a month I use the regulaor one then rinse after a couple time s with plane water hope this helps.

Yes, douching will make you prone to having a yeast infection because the douche wipes out the good bacteria that helps keep the vagina in a healthy balance.

Because of the smell it sounds like you may have an infection called bacterial vaginosis going on but the only way to find out for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.

First of all, you shouldn't douche at all. Bad smell or no smell at all. It ruins the pH balance in your vagina. The yeast in your vagina is supposed to be there. The bad smell is your body telling you that something is wrong, which is usually a bacterial thing, but the thing is, your vagina actually cleans itself. Douching covers up the smell not "cleans" it. Get checked out by a doctor. It could be a number of different things. And when you wash, you don't need to scrub like crazy. Not all bacteria is bad bacteria.

Don't douche unless your doctor tells you to.

Douching is actually more harmful than helpful, it will mess with the pH balance of the vagina, leaving you more susceptible to infections. Douching can force infections, bacteria... etc... into the uterus, which can cause severe problems like PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) which, essentially, leads to infertility.

The vagina is a "self-cleaning" organ. All you need to do is use a gentle washcloth and gentle soap when you bathe.

If you feel that you might have an infection of any sort, see your gyn. Keep in mind that the vagina will have a "normal" smell to it.

Douching will change the pH of your vagina and make you dry. Douching is very old school and most doctors do not recommend it any more. Consider Feminine spray and/or wipes.

All girls have their own natural odor. It usually smells stronger to us than to other people (bf, doctors). If it's more than that, go see a doctor.

You shouldn´t use over the counter medication on this. Go to your gynecologist; he´ll see what kind of infection is, yeast or bacteria. They need different types of medication. I wouldn´t suggest the douche, it will irritate you and won´t solve the infection.

You shouldn't have any odor coming from you if it clean. After a menstrual period is finished you should be a douche. They have them at the Pharmacy.
Bad odor can possibly develop into infection, keep it clean and use the douche.
