I usually get about 5-6 hours. I need much less sleep now than I did when I was younger.

Depends, some nights its 8 and some its just 2 hours.
A person is suppose to sleep 8 hours/night that is 56 hours a week. So 8 hours twice a week, a couple six hours sessions... I figure about twenty four to thirty two a week.

Ideally I try to get about 7 hours I find if I have any less than that I need a 'nanny nap' in the afternoon!!
I always feel really yuk if I have too much sleep kind of groggy and fuzzy headed so a good balance is important.

I average 4 or 5 hours, mostly because I work 3rd shift. I try to lay back down for an hour or so before coming into work.

An adult must manage 52-56hrs of sleep a week.
Calculate how yu can do it and don't over do it either.
If yu have an habit of waking at 7am every morning, maintain it on saturdays and sundays too. Else it can lead to sleeping disorders.
I sleep 50hrs a week, making it 7hrs every night and no extensions on saturdays or sundays.
