OK, without being lewd it seems to be the case that many men are victims of "the bigger the better" syndrome. That is why there is so much spam offering elongations, enhancements, etc. That is why huge gas-guzzling tanks that pretend to be road vehicles are mainly sold to men. And may I say of this notion that since a fusion bomb of the current size can destroy a city of the size of New York, well then an even bigger one may destroy half the State as well -- so they (mostly American and Russian male military scientists) want to build one. Super-size everything! One of your answerers has it absolutely correct -- there is an optimum size for everything and it can change with the purpose for it. You wouldn't want radios the size imposed on your grandparents in the days of vacuum tubes. I heard a somewhat apocryphal story long ago about the time the transistor was invented. A Japanese company approached the inventors' agents to ask for a license to use it. When the agents asked the Japanese company scientists, "Why do you need transistors?" The Japanese said, "We want to use them to make very small radios." To which the agents replied, "They won't sell. People want radios to be bigger, not smaller!" Nevertheless the license was sold, and as they say, the rest is legend.

Bigger can be better only so long as the current size is smaller than the Optimum, otherwise it would certainly be worse. Just simple logic based on the general experience that there is an Optimum size for everything.

False and no...from my experience. Babies are wonderful small little things, as are toddlers and children right up to about 12 or 13: they are excellent company, eager to learn and know new things, eager to show you new things they find on their own; it's all good-- then puberty hits and some often race to display separation from parental advice or offers of fun... then they come back sometime around late high school, early college, and say they realized all you said was A-okay...
Then, years later, you are older and they are over thirty and you speak as friends, except that you can still tell them much about their very early years, and they can still tell you much about their puberty years... it's all good!
