Hi guys,

This is my new pc specs :

Core 2 duo E6750 2.66GHz
Gigabyte P35 DS3L
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x1GB)
HITACHI Deskstar 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA
Nvidia GeForce 8600GT 512MB 128BIT
Imation DVDRW IMQ16DL85I
IIve used Extreme Power Supply Calculator and it turns out the maximum wattage is 400W (this includes having another HDD, lots of fan and usb port,overclocking - 3.4GHz, added soundblaster card).


Im on a tight budget of 50pounds for my psu..Can someone tell me whats the main difference between these PSU and eventually which is the best..

I'll pick the Corsair VX450 for it high output on the +12V rail. Seasonic S12 is a close second. What I do not like of the Antec 430W is its lower MTBF of only 80,000 hours. Coolermaster 500W is big but has lower efficiency and has no active PFC.

Go with the Coolmaster more power is better than not enought and blowing up you power suppy. Give yourself room to grow, get the highest output rating you can afford, you might want to add upgrades to your system someday and if you don't have enough power you will also have to replace the power supply adding to your cost.
