Are cocktail rings important?

I was raised not to wear jewelry. I dont believe that anymore, but I want to know why some ppl think a cocktail ring is important. Do they prove or mean something special? I hear so many ppl talking about cocktail rings and which one ( or two ) to get.

Im not used to jewelry wearing, is it a good idea to get one or no?

Some people like to show off their manicures--or make their hands a center of attention. A cocktail ring is just the thing to bring interest to the hands. People speak with their hands, and a cocktail ring is always noticed. Never wear more than one at a time as it is too many centers of attention.

Sometimes a little bling on the fingers is the perfect accessory to complement your outfit.
