No, because no matter where you are in space there is some gravitational pull from objects. They would eventually hit something. Even if that something is dust. If there happened to be a combination of gravitational pulls on it he could float around for a long time, but highly unlikely. He would eventually stop due to friction from space dust.

Dangerous as it may be, it is possible for man and the travel to float endlessly in space, but they both run the risk of being hit with a meteor.

yes and no........Newtons first law suggests that both objects will continue moving forever.....But the universe is not entirely vacuum, and there are bodies with mass, which will eventually slow down their motion. Then again....explosions dont occur in the vaccum of space for the launcher to fire in the first place

The only thing that will stop either is if they enter the gravitational field of a large body. It will collide with that body. However, that body is still traveling in space, so it is still traveling in space along with the large body. In fact, everything is traveling in space forever.

Is it even possible to fire a rocket launcher in space? I thought explosions couldn't happen up there? lol

if that they had an settlement consistent with have faith that they wouldnt carry out with the different intercourse, then the guy who broke this settlement is obviously interior the incorrect. it is not an extremely logical settlement, and that i do no longer think of a relationship is very healthful in the event that they experience the would desire to make that promise. yet a promise is a promise, and breaking a promise looks to trump all. And, revenge is extremely junior severe. If the guy cares with regard to the girl he shouldn't desire to "get returned at her" i think of this boy and woman would desire to perhaps have a communicate to reevaluate the coolest judgment in promising one yet another they gained't have acquaintances of the different intercourse.

That is the first principle in Physics.
All objects in uniform motion will continue to be in its state of uniform motion till a force acts on it.
