an old NORTON antiviris on my computer. I need to have this
removed before my MCCAFEE anti viris can be installed.
I have tried to delete the NORTON program from my commuter
but am blocked with an error message. No program found.

have you gone into the control pannel, add/remove programs? then unninstall Norton. If that didnt work in the programs part of 'start' go into Norton and click uninstall. If that doesnt work go >my computer> local disk (C:)> program files. go into Norton's and there might be an uninstall icon.

You must re-install Norton FIRST.
