p0401 exhaust gas recirculation flow insufficient, means that somewhere in the path of the exhaust gas flow, you have a blockage or restriction. the fun part is finding it.... reseting the light only hides the problem. resolve the issue and the light will go out on its own.

I'm not sure how bad the vibration is, but I have seen dirty fuel injectors, a weak plug or wire, a bad Torue Converter Control switch in an automatic or even a timing belt off 1 notch cause that. But if the Honda Factory trained techs tell you it's unfixable...hmmm

Auto repair shops have a "code reader" which resets all the "codes" in the computer that controls engine performance, and the check engine light.
