I want this permanent position hands down. It's job that instead of working 8-5, it's actually a going to be graveyard. I have a 2nd job that I work 2 nights a week during those hours and that extra money helps me to pay rent. I'm already in the process of being permanent but when I was told of my position I was told I'd be working days. How can I fairly and nicely discuss my situation with my big boss so that she understands that I want this position but need to change the hours a little.Should I quit my 2nd job and get something in the daytime? I need this job, it's secure, and it pays well. I just don't want them to think I'm not interested because I am very interested. Was telling one of the bosses. I told one of my bosses the situation, and that I just moved..so I need to keep the hours of my 2nd job, but I don't want them to think I'm not making them the priority. Please help me. I have to report tommorow.

its obvious this permanent job isnt going to pay your way. so you should tell them your financial situation. they can either keep you on temp and same schedule or pay you more on permanent so that you dont need to do that 2nd job.

I don't think it's your actual life circumstances that is causing this... for example being bald, not having a partner etc. I am extremely depressed all the time and it's because I feel like I HAVE so much and I am terrified of losing it. I feel dispair every single day because I'm so afraid of my husband dying in the future. Then I'll have nothing because I would never be with anyone else. Just because you tried antidepressants over a decade ago doesn't mean they won't work for you now... and there are lots and lots of different kinds of medications. I'm doing a degree in Naturopathy but in some circumstances, people need pharmaceuticals. Not saying you 100% need antidepressants because I can't say that, but one could benefit you. You say your problems are back in oz but a key element to happiness and feeling stable is being part of a community and having a good social network to keep you busy. Because you don't speak indonesian very well (and your culture is so different), you're not going to fit in very well there. Also there is the issue of the health care system there. I really think you should consider moving back to oz and getting some health care... free sessions with a psychologist under medicare and also being part of a culture that you relate to better and speak the fluent language would be a lot better for you. Otherwise all I can say is try to force yourself to eat really well and exercise. I know it's hard and it feels pointless when you feel like life is pointless. But it seems to help me if I take all my vitamins/minerals, have protein shakes, get plenty of sunlight and exercise... it does help. I could explain the biochemical reasons why these things help but it's probably not important... they can really help

Does this job you really want pay enough to stay with it the way it is offerred? If so, could you quit your second job, and if need be later, find a second job to fit your new schedule, with where you want to be?
Please consider the pros and cons of the decisions-go for it-if it is the best job for you, pay, benefits, etc. Go for what works out best for you. Take care.
