I've never been much on getting out of bed, either. Even though you say that alarms don't really work well, what I've successfully tried is to set at least two alarms. The first one will be situated right by where you sleep at, be set at least 15 minutes prior to your actual wake-up time, and will have some sort of "snooze" function. A buzzer wasn't effective for me, so I use the alarm on my cell phone.
The second one will be close by, but far enough away so you will have no choice but to get up to shut it off. This alarm needs to be set to the time you have to get up, something that doesn't automatically shut off, and is annoying. I personally use a clock/radio set to turn on to a particularly annoying radio station. Good luck.

Put the alarm across the room and set it on very loud.
Once you actually clamber out of the bed to shut it off, it comes down to sheer willpower to not go BACK into bed.
If you're afraid your spirit is weak, then maybe put the alarm near the shower so you can immediately start bathing. Or, as I did a few times when I worked the morning shift, put the alarm clock in the kitchen, near the fridge/freezer. I would click off the alarm and then force myself to grab an ice cube and slide it down my back. BRRRRRR! That wakes you up!
Also, study right now. Don't waste your time here!

Do what I do...1 alarm won't do the trick. Set one on your regular alarm, 1 on your cell phone, and if you live with somebody tell them to wake you up before they leave. OR set your clock an hour ahead and you'll scare the crap out of yourself when you look at the clock in the morning, b/c it says 5 but in all actuality it's 4, and you'll have plenty of time to get ready.

when i was in college i would be in this situation a lot. i would study until i was so tried i just could not stay awake anymore then i would sleep with all the lights on and the tv or radio on very loudly and i would sleep in an uncomfortable position. like in a chair or scrunched up on the corner of my bed or on top of books. i would sleep for only an hour or two before the lights or the noise or the discomfort would wake me up and then i would take a shower to really wake up and keep studying. good luck.

go to bed earlier. buy one of the huge annoying alarm clocks, put it away from your bed, so you have to get up. go the the kitchen drink coffee or something with caffeine...and go outside, feel the fresh air, and that will wake you up.
