It would depend on the medications. Most significantly, men taking nitrates need to avoid Viagra. Additionally, if any man is taking more than one BP medication, he should have an electrocardiogram before starting Viagra or any other drug for erectile dysfunction.

There is no common agreed view on this. The manufacturers say that it is safe in the case of controlled Blood Pressure patients. But the fact is that Viagra also increase circulation especially rushing of blood to the penis area.So many doctors say Viagra may cause rupture of blood carrying veins etc.In the circumstances I feel that Viagra is not safe for chronic B.P patients.Even aphrodisiacs are not safe for them

A lot of doctors will tell you to taper off, but I go on and off medications abruptly with no ill effects. Since that's what the doctor said, I'd suggest you try it and promptly report problems, if you encounter any. The worst problem I've had is bad dreams after stopping an anti-depressant. And I've had bad dreams other times when I wasn't stopping medication, so I figured it was not an issue. Good luck, though. -w-

Maybe, but you really need a doctor to review the complete medical history first. A doctor may recommend Levitra over Viagra or recommend NO ED meds, it all depends on what his problems are and what other meds he is taking
You can learn more about these drugs and their side effects at the online pharmacy site that I use below.

Hi,
In most cases, erectile dysfunction is caused by something physical. Sometimes it's caused by psycological problems. The brain plays a key role in triggering the series of physical events that cause an erection, starting with feelings of sexual excitement. You can learn more about this problem and about natural remedies here http://erectiledysfunction.toptips.org. It's an eye opening site!
Cheers.

Viagra pumps more blood as such increasing the load on heart. Check with your doctor first. What is the reason for your high BP? Is it psychological or is there any coronary artery disease? Are you diabetic also? Needs detailed investigation.
