Yes. Every one should be against animal cruelty. If you are in a war and kill some one are you a murderer? same logic, the farmer or rancher raises the animals to be food just like he raises the vegetables to be food. Plants are alive until they are harvested, beast, bird and fish are alive until they are harvested.

Yes I love a good stake or meat. I also think cows are kinda cute. The thing is that they are a good source of protean and other nutrients our bodies need in order to function. I think fish are pretty and fun to watch but I still eat them. I do not believe anyone should make an animal suffer or abuse an animal. I think as long as the animals are treated well and killed is a safe, fast manner where they will not suffer, I am all for good meat! I do to some degree wish people had to hunt and kill and fix the animals that they are eating. It would give them greater respect for them and nature in general. I Hunt Doves and I always clean, and prepare them. Then eat them to. now people go to KFC, McDonalds, or the grocery store and just buy what we need or want. My great grandfather would every year in October or November kill pigs and clean them so there would be meat on the table during the cold winter. Chickens necks were rung and them boiled so that the feathers could be pulled out easier, and prepared for cooking. I know it may sound strange but people who hunt and fish usually have much more respect for animals and nature than the people of groups like PETA and other organizations. I hate people who mistreat animals or kill them just to do something, that’s not right. Yet some of the very best meat I have ever had was Elk. It was tender, and had a great taste to it. With some carrots and potatoes and some onion it was a very good meal. And if I have to say so better for you than most of the meat you now get from the grocery.

I am a Flexitarian. I just eat meat a couple of times a week and I really like vegetarian meals with beans and whole grains, veggies and fruit and a little dairy. I come from a Buddhist and Shinto family and I am the most meatless one. I love animals and I think animals can be raised for food without cruel and unsanitary practices.

Have a great night! Now I can go back to my Reuben.

That's a tough one. You can be against animal cruelty and still eat meat. The dilemma is where does your meat comes from? A lot of farms are cruel to animals. You can't always be certain.

I have no problem with eating meat. And I am totally against animal cruelty. It's such a symptom of the feeling of being totally powerless. Parents that suspect a child of theirs is behaving in animal cruelty really need to address the problem by accompanying the child to a good counselor.

Yes, animal cruelty doesn't just focus on eating animals. It's also about being against using animals for testing products, using their fur as clothing etc....eating is something you have to do. You don't have to wear a fur coat made of rabbits or minx...in my opinion you can still eat meat.

of direction it relatively is, and no, you're no longer a hypocrite. ALL slaughterhouses in the U. S. ought to handle the animals humanely and use government-authorized Humane Slaughter approaches, to do otherwise might get them close down. a great form of slaughterhouses have went to great price to construct their animal coping with centers in this type of way as to make the technique as low-stress as achieveable for the animals, utilising the innovations set forth by Dr. Temple Grandin (Dr. Grandin is autistic) for my section, I develop maximum of our meat, that way I administration the way it lives, what it eats, and how it dies. purely the day previous I introduced a 19 month previous steer to the close by slaughterhouse for processing. Mr Angus Steer became offered on the close by salebarn whilst he became 3 days previous. He spent his first 14 months nursing his "foster mom" (a Jersey cow). He had a actual stable life, via fact the life of a steer destined for slaughter is going. He had the affection of a "mom" plenty longer than different crimson meat calves (they're in many cases weaned at 5-6 months), he never observed a "feedlot", and his end became calm. He lightly stepped out of the trailer and walked down the alleyway into the slaughterhouse. there became in straightforward terms curiousity approximately this new place, there became no worry and finally, no discomfort. which would be marvelous meat, there will be no "worry taint" in the beef that comes from adrenaline. We additionally deer hunt, bow kills are very humane and probably painless. i've got seen many deer have a razor sharp broadhead conflict by their heart and not even cringe, no longer instruct any indications in any respect of being hit, even proceed ingesting, and then purely lay down peacefully and die. I additionally develop and butcher my very own chickens, plus shop hens for eggs. a number of those previous hens do replace into pets, I even have one previous poultry available it fairly is over 4 years previous and hasn't laid an egg in over a 300 and sixty 5 days. i'm no longer able to develop pigs anymore even with the undeniable fact that, they're too clever. whilst "that day" comes, you may tell by their eyes that they understand what's coming, and ours popular it so gracefully that it broke my heart. i've got no longer been able to consume crimson meat via fact that.

Yes, in fact breeders can do a better job at treating the animals better. And yes I know killing them is considered cruel and seems to be an oxymoron to kill an animal in a kind way but it can be done.
