One week is pretty soon to know she is pregnant. And you should have thought about contraceptives a while ago. You might want to wait about three more weeks and take another test. In the meantime, contraceptive use might be a good idea. Try condoms or abstinence.

ok... 1... if she's already pregnant, it's too late for contraceptives. you should instead think of which family planning clinic to visit..... or start stocking up on diapers, bottles, baby clothes, powder formula, etc etc etc.

2. 1 week pregnant? little early to know that she's pregnant... might want to wait a couple more weeks and then go to the doctor and get her tested.... if she is tests positive for being pregnant at the doctor... go back to step 1 that i wrote.

3... use a condom and other forms of birth control next time. I prefer Trojans and Lifestyles.

Sweetie,
Your GF is not 1 week pregnant.
NoBody ever knows when they are just 1 week pregnant.
You need to go talk to your school counsler (with your girlfriend) and tell them what you told us.
Also, if she were pregnant. Contraceptives will do you know good. They are only to prevent pregnancy.
Maybe you mean STD protection?
If this is what you actually meant, then you need to still wear a condom. This will protect you both from any Sexual diseases either of you have.

Good Luck
Stay safe
Stacie

Ahm ... I think you kinda missed the contraceptive bandwagon!

If you're concerned about STDs than use condoms, but it's too late to be worried about preventing a pregnancy.

If you are Both monogamous and you BOTH are STD free you don't need any contraceptive. If you are unsure in any way...be tested for the STD's. She should automatically be tested because she is pregnant.

contraceptives is a term used for items that prevent pregnancy. therefore, it is too late for contraceptives. you cant really know your pregnant at one week. did she take a pregnancy test one week ago? if she did, then she is three weeks pregnant.

You wouldn't know she were pregnant yet if she were 1 week pregnant. Technically, you arent pregnant at all until the second week and then you don't find out you are pregnant until the 4th or 5th week. Do your research.
