Kev, my first question would be do you like being married. If the answer is yes then I would do whatever was harmless and try to get something on her list done maybe not all of it but 1 thing to make her happy.

If you have any friends left, see what they're doing.
A night out at a quiet bar, maybe out to dinner with the guys followed by a movie the women don't typically like (action, violence, aliens, whatever)...
Or maybe theres some microbreweries in the area that you'd like to visit with some friends.
If all your friends are married, invite them over for a bachelor's night of junk food, beer, and whatever entertainment suits (football, poker, burgers on the grill, strippers, etc).
After all, what good is a weekend without the wife if you can't act a little like a bachelor? And isn't it man law that you should share the wealth with your other male friends?

Spend the weekend relaxing and go fishing. Kick back and rent some good movies or browse through a sporting goods store.Enjoy the peace and quiet and drop by and visit family and friends.Take a drive to a casino and try your luck.

You did not say if you had children and whether they will be staying behind.. If so, you will have plenty to do. Otherwise, I say, go out to lunch, call a buddy and go out to a ball park. When at home, do things your way, all the way. Revel in the fact that you can turn on your favorite music, or ball game and order pizza, just for you. Beer too!!! Yippee!!! I hope you have a wonderful weekend on your own.

I would suggest you do as your heart dictates, and Clean the bathroom, and then can you drop by and clean mine, this is the second time I've asked for some one to come, and still no one.This would be a good time to reflect on your wife and all she does to make your house a home. She must love and trust and respect you a lot to leave you home alone.
