I am not confident about that. There are reasons:

Why was the US Flag fluttering on Moon? There's no air in Moon!

The astronauts were on the bright side of the Moon and stayed for quite a long time. In reality, they would have boiled up because there is no atmosphere to reduce the intensity of Sun-rays neither air to take away heat from the body.

The US wanted to beat the Soviet Union who were leading the space race and this could be a bluff that they gave to the world!

No, it is not a question of belief. Apollo is historical FACT. People who think it was faked simply do not understand the science and have no idea of the extent of the record. It really is that simple. The flag is NOT waving (watch the TV and film - it only moves when someone touches it); stars are absent because you can't photograph them along with a sunlit scene; heat on the surface is not a problem because they're in a vacuum, and thermal transfer is well known; and so on.

Men did land on the Moon, using technology developed continuously since the 1940s, vast amounts of US government funds, and 400,000 people spread across the entire US and even the world. Really research the record, and you'll be amazed.

Polls and Surveys should be directed under the Music and Entertainment category.

Please check the search bar before posting questions.

I think that you will find that persons who believe that the lunar landings were a government hoax get their science information from youtube.com. It serves as a magnet for those who are less intelligent and those too lazy to attempt to do any real learning and those who would rather settle for a good old 'nope it's all a hoax' than straining their minds to attempt to comprehend science facts and information.

It is easy for a learned person to understand how manned landings on the lunar surface progressed from the early days of rocketry through avionic testing and the Mercury missions towards the goal of landing men successfully upon the Moon.

It is easier for an ignorant person to sit back in his easy chair, light up a joint, and say 'nope. couldn't have been done'.

Nobody forces you to believe in the technology of science. You are free to take your pick which person you want to be.

It is very possible that men went to the moon, but if you watch closely the movies and the pictures done in these occasions you can believe that what was shown was not real.

The flag is waving and we know there is no atmosphere on Moon.
The stars are missing. The sky behind is completely black.
There are no blast craters and it was said that the Moon is covered in fine dust.
There are shadows in different angels like it was used more than one source of light.
No engine noise in the module who landed on the Moon, during the pilot voice recording.
I believe that it was very important at that stage (late 60's early 70's) to show the Russians the technology available in USA.
The Russians were first in space and the Americans had to do something to win the space race.

Anyway in 2 years, a Japanese will have a mission in space and they will come close to Moon. With the pictures in that mission we could see who is right.

Yes, several men went to the moon. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

No; I believe men went to the moon. There is no credible controversy in this so I am wondering where the question is leading.

Yes.
It's not that hard.
It's all about escaping the gravitational pull of Earth's gravity.
Why they didn't start launch on top of Mount Everest and launch at a near perpendicular angle to the surface of the Earth (saves fuel at launch which is where most of the fuel is needed and expended), I'll never know.
But they definitely went up there.

Yea, Armstrong was the 1st man to make it onto the moon. If you're looking at some chinese legends about Chang E' then it's not true.

Absolutely not!!!The entire space race between the Soviet Union and the U.S.was a conspiracy. The Soviets WANTED us to get to the moon first. That's why their government did not expose our deception. After that massive international conspiracy was agreed upon,it was a simple matter to get thousands of NASA employees,Disney employees, filmmakers, the astronauts themselves,to keep totally quiet about it for the next 48 years. All that was left then is to get all the scientists worldwide who studied the moon rocks to get in on the conspiracy, and voila! You have some faked moon landings.Simple huh?

OR

They went to the moon

Which one is more plausible? You decide
