Both are bad positions to be in, but when people overestimate you, they feel that if you don't succeed, you are letting them down. When they underestimate you, you can blow them away with what you can do. So, while I would like to be taken for who I am, if i can't, i would would rather be underestimated, because i can show people what I am really worth when I make myslef succeed.
