3400 kg | 1000 g / 1 kg | 1000 mg / 1 g | = 3.4x10^9 mg

1 kg = 1000 g
1 g = 1000 mg

3400 kg x 1000g / 1 kg = 3,400,000 g
3,400,000 g x 1000 mg / 1 g = 3,400,000,000 mg
