I know about adding a dash of bleach, but hate doing it because a few drops always splashes on me and ruins my shirt or fades the dishcloth.

They do both. It acts as a sanitizer and a degreaser. The new ones now with Bleach are the best sanitizers though because they really get it clean.

If you don't want to add a dash of bleach you a dash of Lysol concentrate. It won't ruin your clothes but it kills germs and sanitizes as well. I use it in my laundry to kill germs too. Good luck. 2D

well i thought soap breaks down dirt molecules and carries it away, and in that dirt is bacteria. so when dirt is gone bacteria is washed away with it. right?
