1. Install the Graphics card
2. Install the latest drivers.
3. Reboot Windoze
4. Modify the Display properties.
TIP: If you use an LCD monitor, use "Native Resolution ONLY"

make sure you installed correctly, you should see when you boot up a grafic card specs on a black screen telling you how much of grafic card memory you have for example 128 MB.
if you see this that means you installed correctly, now go to your desktop and click on the desktop and go personalize in vista and properties in xp. a screen should pop up look for display properties, and click on it thier , you should see what you can do with your graphic card. or also click on programs and the brand of graphic card you have , you should see the program, thier you can play with the settings of the graphic card. good luck i hope that works for you,

Hi. Most will come with a driver CD. Install this FIRST then plug in your card. Reboot. Enjoy!

u uninstall any present cards driver and then turn off and plug in the new one ... boot into bios if u had integrated and disable it ... then boot into safemode to install the new graphics driver .. then reboot ...
