I need to hear something uplifting... because the only thing that's uplifting in my life right now are the elevators in my building.

Dear Mike White,
My sympathies go out to you with regards to the death of your 16 year old friend/relative...last month I was told by a relative of our son-in-law and daughter's best friend Nash [who was 26 years old] and another friend [who was 29 years old and had a wife and 2 children] both died in a car accident...and I was the one to have to tell my daughter and I could barely get the words out and I was crying a lot because I knew of the grieving that would follow after I told our daughter and son-in-law of the tragic news. So I can understand your grief. I as well had to phone our daughter of the tragic loss of her 20 year old brother almost three years ago, and the worst part for me at my son's funeral was seeing the casket being lowered into the ground...It was the saddest day of my life.

Dear Fatstan@,
I appreciated your answer to my question for something uplifting [because I was really down in the dumps
that day], but our 20 year old son took the elevator to the roof of our 14 storey building and plunged 14 stories to his death...but I know you meant well, as well you didn't realize this when you answered my question. I still love you, my good friend.

I've posted this before and I have gotten alot of positive feedback. I wrote this some time ago and I like to share it with people who feel as you are now.

In My Heart, I feel Joy.
In My Mind I see potential.
In My Actions I see virtue.
In My Soul I experience peace.
In My Life I have purpose.
In My Dreams I make a Difference.
In My Day, I am useful.
In all things, I am Level.
In touching others, I make contact.
In leading a chorus, I can influence.
In passing time, I am tranquil.
In breathing, I am fulfilled.
In changing, I am dynamic.
In visions, I aspire.
In the beginning I was ignorant.
In this time I have a goal.
In the future, I am...
In the past, remember.
In this day, live.
In tomorrow, believe.

In Reality... I am Me.

It looks like my new idea for a new book is a GO. That may not be uplifting for you, but it sure is for me. For you, assuming you live in the Northern Hemisphere, fall is on the way. The leaves are turning and Halloween is on the way. I am going to be Cardinal Ximenez - because nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition. Bring me the comfy chair.... Pax- C

I don't know what's going on in your life right now, but whatever it may be it will get better. Just remember that you are the only one who can make you happy. Maybe you should do something for yourself, do something you enjoy. Everyone is precious and you are no different. I hope this helps and remember to take care of yourself. Maybe you should look in the mirror and give yourself a smile.

Keep a "positive attitude" and say and do things that will be worthwhile to others. Wherein someone needs help, give them the benefit of what you "have learned." Find others who have certain "skills" and "learn" from them. Keep this cycle rolling and you will find such fulfillment. What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.

God has sent angels to be there with you at any given moment. All you need to do is ask, and they are there to support, love and guide you. Ask them to make you feel uplifted, and you will instantly feel better.

God bless!

Well, the cables on your elevator did'nt snap and you did'nt plunge 20 stories to your death. However, i would start taking the stairs if i were you.
