ive played bball for 6 years and ive never heard of it. Maybe it involves the baselines of the court which are on each end.

you mean baseline or going baseline? thats the closest match to the word "basing" in basketball.

i don't believe that is even a bball term, i've been playing for about ten years and never heard it used before

dunno played a bit at school, was a bit confused as I had played netball, they are similar but different.
