Hmm lets see I could live in Burma. While I may think it is going down the drain occasionally I then see news footage of innocent people being slaughtered by their government such as innocent monks. I am blessed to live in the USA and Greatful.

Not me. Even our Federally mandated poverty rate for a family of four is higher than the average family income of every nation south of us on the planet, with the exception of New Zealand and Australia.
The United States is the home of Silicon Valley. Europe is the home of state-subsidized coal mines. Asia is the home of lead-tainted children's toys.

It went many years ago, morally, and is now in the process of going down the gurgler financially. Trouble is, because of the US economy's obesity it will drag the rest of the developed world down with it.
