The answer is D

1/10 = 6/60
1/4 = 15/60
1/5 = 12/60
2/15 = 8/60 (by multiplying to get LCD)

all these x/60 added together = 41/60

That's 6/60 for annual income, 15/60 for food and clothing, 12/60 for general and 8/60 for entertainment. Add'em all up and you've got 41/60.

D.

Find the common denominator (or what number do all the other denominators go into evenly)--- 60

Convert fractions into fractions over the new denominator--

1/10= 6/60
1/4= 15/60
1/5= 12/60
2/15= 8/60

Add the numerators--- 6+15+12+4= 41

41/60

Do your own homework, or else you will wind up working for MacDonalds until you are 21 and too old to exploit after which you will be on the dole until you qualify for single parent's pension because of the many illegitimate kids you will no doubt have. You will live in a house with dead cars in the front yard and be afraid every time you answer the door in case it is the police/council/repo man.
