Did you (or your god) also create the universe? Something like that would give you credibility. Just like typing "top contributor" doesn't make you a top contributor, making up a god, does not make that god the one true God. I say this not in sarcasm, but with respect.

No, doesn't make "him" less significant either....since the God in the Bible was created by other in the same fashion...it's just that more people choose to believe in the God created in the Bible...often because they won't think for themselves.

Not necessarily.
I believe my god believes I'm incredibly funny.
Which is why I choose him as my god.
Edit: To Christy L, you say that the bible is proof that God is real? Are you freakin' insane!?
Human people wrote that book which is made up of stolen bits and pieces of other people's religion.
And it has been changed all the heck around over a thousand years, interpreted and re-interpreted by thousands of other people. What is written now does not even come close to what was written back in the day.

No god, however ludicrous or silly or unbelievable as he seems, is any more ludicrous, or sill, or unbelievable than another, if thats what your asking. At least in the bible's version, because many things in the bible contradict other parts, and many parts make god look daft.

No, but its just your opinion. Many people have their own versions of god(s), but that doesn't make own more real or important than another. Also, you shouldn't think your god is the only god, because nobody really knows that for sure.

Catherine Zeta Jones is my godperson.
I pray to her every day, and she doesn't answer me just as much as bible god, so I'm happy with that. And along with that, she's way better looking than bible Mary, and with her radiant godly looks I'm sure she'll also have a second coming and I will have revelations with her in erm....holywood.

In a sense it would, because it would admittedly be your creation, so this "God" of yours wouldn't be significant to anybody... including you, because you'd know it was B.S. For a god to be a true god, it would be the other way around; he/she/it would create YOU. The Biblical "God" is nobody's admitted creation, making it more plausible to those who believe in the Biblical God.
That's not to say one God is more likely to be true than the other. Only more significant.

You have it backwards. You didn't make your own God, the Only God made you! And, in my opinion, there is no such thing as a "Bible God"...there is just God...Blessings!
