Sorry, but they are all awful. They sound like they're from a sci-fi movie.

I'm not keen on most of those. I've never liked naming a person after a character in a prominent movie or book - they never shake the connection.

Cecelia is pretty. Kelis is kind of neat for a second name. I like Leander a lot. None of the others speak to me.

As an aside, are you sure Elisaveta was from Dracula? The reason I ask is that I have some Romanian in my heritage and have a relative who was named the Romanian version of Elizabeth. I also worked with a Polish woman whose name was the Polish version of Elizabeth. In both cases, the name was pronounced kind of like Elsa Bet Eh. It's very pretty to hear said properly by someone with the right accent.

1. It's a lovely name, but somewhat plain. It won't cause your baby any grief during the school years.
2. This one is also nice, but your baby will be growing up in a post-Harry Potter world and her name will most likely be associated with "Minerva McGonnagol" (I know I spelled that wrong, but I'm not going for the book at the moment), and that may result in people calling her a "witch".
3. This name will cause problems due to its difficult pronunciation. Your baby will have to put up with 15-20 years of teachers struggling through it. My maiden name was very hard to pronounce (phonetically, that is) and it caused me so much frustration that I dreamed of my wedding day not for the romance, but for an easier last name!
4. Atreyu might work. Most people of our generation will associate it with "The Never Ending Story", but less and less modern children are experiencing this enchanting film. So this name will probably not invoke teasing, but may create mystery (a good thing).
5. Same thing as above for the name of Bastian. I love the middle name...To Kill a Mocking Bird? Very poetic name all together.
6. As much as I love "Star Wars" I'm going to have to say that Anakin is a bad choice. They're always going to get the "Star Wars" and Darth Vader jokes because their generation will still be in the wake of the "Star Wars" phenomenon (albeit phase 2). It's a bad choice. I like the middle name though.
7. This is very pretty too. It also has that poetic air of mystique. I think that this one is both manageable (on the child's part) and creative. I think that this one is my favorite. =D

* And so what if they sound like they're from a SciFi movie!!!!! Science Fiction is an important part of human society and culture. So =p to those who think they are "weird". I'd rather be weird than close-minded any day!

Bastian Atticus for a boy sounds lovely. Very strong regal sounding name, yet also easy to spell and pronounce which will be important later in life.

Cecelia Lavender and Minerva Danae are lovely girls names. Both are not too common, can be nicknamed, easy to spell and pronouce, plus they are so feminine sounding.

Why don't you go all out and name the poor baby Count Dracula's Bast---? PLEASE reconsider. The only decent thing in the lot was Lavender.
