When you transfer your credits from one college to another, do your W's transfer too?

At most schools, only grades of D and above will transfer. That means no F, W, INC, WF etc... grades. Some schools only transfer grades above C.

The only time a W is important (or used for anything) is calculating the percentage of courses you enrolled in that were completed for financial aid and advising purposes. Academically, a W is a non-grade. WF is a different matter.

A W is not a credit so it does not transfer, albeit it could be used as a decision variable depending on the school whether you're worthy of being admitted.

Nonetheless, it remains on your academic transcript of the original school ,however, and if you ever apply to grad school or for some employment opportunities (usually in education) they will request ALL your post-secondary transcripts, not just the one you graduated from so there's no way to hide from it.

No, because you didn't earn credit for a course you withdrew from.

When you transfer credit from one college to another, your GPA and grades doesn't go with you, just that you have __ credits and have completed ______ courses.

Yes, I do believe that W's transfer too... You transfer your credits befor/when you transfer. (Some credits might not transfer which sucks) You have to retake your withdrawn classes before the W goes away!
