It would probably be myself. Before my last divorce, I would have said my husband but now I have gotten use to raising the children and being independent. The children are still too young to make decisions on their own (important ones). I just remarried a month ago and am trying to readjust. :o) I do believe the man should be the Head of the Family but only if he loves us enough to want to take care of us properly and look out for OUR WANTS AND NEEDS! I'll probably receive many thumbs down on this answer.

Yes I do, I have an older sister that is a total control freak, she always has been and always be I guess. Fortunately I'm married and live a couple states away, so when she calls telling me I need to do this and that I can just hang up.

Yeah and she just moved out! A 21 year old step-daughter, that does not want to grown up and work. After almost 4 months and 20 grand, down the tube, she moves out with boyfriend in tow. I swear she reminded me of Gladys Travis ; remember the sitcom BEWITCHED, the nosy neighbor.

Used to be my dad,but this past few years I have proven to him that I can be responsible and take care of my self and my wife and kids. Now he lets me handle my own business and actually asks before butting in. Also a few months ago he told me he is proud of me and loves me for the very first time in my entire life.
I was shocked into total silence at this.

Yes...both of my parents. They just don't understand that I can make my own decisions. I mean I'm only 20 but I haven't lived with them for 3 yrs and I've done just fine. I have my own apartment I'm going to college. They just feel like I still live under their roof. They even try to tell me how to pay my bills and what groceries to buy. Pathetic. But you got to love them, they just want what's best for you.

I have a few people in my family that want me to do nothing with my life. All of the goals I've ever told them about just sound unnecessary to them.

No.. only let someone control you to an extent. You should know what you should and should not do.
