A lot of airlines won't allow a women to fly who is in her third trimester, because the travel can cause added stress which might induce an early labor, and also because expectant dates aren't always correct, so its to cover themselves and to make sure that both mother and child will be safe.

I wouldn't suggest it as you may run into a number of medical problems while abroad and the U.S. has the best medical care in the world. However, this is also fun you could have with your family. If you're willing to take the risks then go for it but I'd suggest you pass on the trip.

I don't think an airline will let a pregnant woman fly after 32 weeks because of the air pressure - I think the air pressure can cause early labor. The risks sound quite high. Why not stay at home and get the house set up for your exciting new bub? :D

No! Consult your doctor, but I really think it is not ok for you to travel at this point. It is a lot of stress, and after 8 months you can give birth at any time.

I'm sorry to say but any good doctor would tell you that it is not okay to fly that late in the pregnancy for even 3 hours and especially not 16-20 hours. Good luck with that baby though.

Nope. Sched it for when the baby is at least 3-5 months.

I don't think you're even allowed on the plane...
Plus what if it comes early? You really want it born in a place where no doctors can necessarily speak English?
I would not risk it.
