I plan to by myself a new vehicle. Any suggestions.
Note: I am not wealthy but pretty well can afford a good vehcile, so don't hold back on your suggestions.

You might as well get yourself something you'll enjoy. If you're into sports cars go ahead and get yourself something like a convertible mustang. They have decent power, are fun and look nice. If you're into the SUV type of thing you can't go wrong with the many varieties of Jeeps out there, some available for less than 25k. If you like the nice simple luxury I'd go with the Lexus IS 250, under 30k. There are actually a handful of decent luxury options under that mark on this web site. Buy something you'll like, but don't throw your money away; buy something you will want to hang onto for at least 5 years. Test drive everything you think MAY be a possibility, it is the only way you'll know which one is right for you. Hey 40 isn't old, so don't sweat feeling it for another 10 years!

Happy birthday! 40 is awesome. I'm 45 and even menopause hasn't been bad! LOL.
I'd go for something sporty, fast, with a great stereo system and good gas mileage. And mine would be red! Live it up!

Forget brand new off the line SUVs--go classic. Search for that car as a kid you'd swear you'd own someday. Convertible would be great, but not a necessity.

Get something with good suspension, good lumbar support, big mirrors, and power everything. You are now officially OLD. Get one of those big visors too, and maybe curb feelers.
