Not just referring to '69.
Twice in 1969 (Apollos 11 & 12).
Twice in 1971 (Apollos 14 & 15).
Twice in 1972 (Apollos 16 & 17).
Personally, I don't believe this to be a hoax at all. But I'm curious to see how many people actually do, and why.

Protik: The surface of the moon experiences temperatures of up to around 250 degrees Fahrenheit, when lit. That's really not so intense.
Check out this website. http://www.braeunig.us/space/hoax.htm
On there, it says, "It is readily apparent that all the videos showing a fluttering flag is one in which an astronaut is grasping the flagpole. He is obviously twisting or jostling the pole, which is making the flag move. In fact, in some video the motion of the flag is unlike anything we would see on Earth. In an atmosphere the motion of the flag would quickly dampen out due to air resistance. In some of the Apollo video we see the twisting motion of the pole resulting in a violent flapping motion in the flag with little dampening effect."

There is only one condition that could make the hoax hypothesis have the slightest grain of sense. I didn't say intelligent or right, I just meant that it could be asked by an impartial observer.
That condition is if the only evidence was a few grainy pieces of TV footage and some photos. And most of the questions put forward by people saying they believe it was a hoax mention only the footage and the photos.
Frankly, I think most "hoax" believers don't actually care. It's just a form of rebellion, or an attempt to control what they don't understand.

Yes, it is absolutely PROVABLE in a scientific sense that we did. All of the nations of the world monitored the signals broadcast from the lander at the time, and using triangulation they found they were coming from the moon. Anyone who doubts it has little understanding of how difficult it would be to pull off a hoax like this on all of the scientists of the world. Bringing moon rocks back and distributing samples to most nations that asked? The integrity of the men who did it? The massive number of people who would have to be in on it? It would be FAR easier to actually do it than to try and fool everyone. I have heard all of the supposed 'proofs' that it was a hoax and none of them stand up to a cursory examination using scientific principles and none of them can explain away the real proofs mentioned above.

Landing spacecraft? Ok I can believe that.
Landing man? I am not confident about that. There are reasons:
Why was the US Flag fluttering on Moon? There's no air in Moon!
The astronauts were on the bright side of the Moon and stayed for quite a long time. In reality, they would have boiled up because there is no atmosphere to reduce the intensity of Sun-rays neither air to take away heat from the body.
The US wanted to beat the Soviet Union who were leading the space race and this could be a bluff that they gave to the world!

If the Moon landings in 1969 and later had been faked thousands of scientists and radio experts around the world would have known straight away. Specially the Russians, but also Germans, French, Spanish, Australians, British, you name it.
Those who say different are deluded or lying, end of story.

Well the main evidance is that the USSr (Russia) did not say anything and since we were in the Cold War they would have been the first to say somthing if there was any real evidance that it was fake.

I do think it was a hoax. We occasionally have trouble today getting the space shuttle up and back and it's far superior to anything we had back then. How did we land on the moon, take back off again and return to earth in 1969. Plus, I can't get my cell phone to keep a call up, yet they could talk to us from the moon....in 1969. I don't get it. But that's just my opinion.
