in the colonial times. I have to come up with 3 -5 key ideas about why loyalists are better than patriots and neutralists.

loyalists were those who supported King George III and OPPOSED independence. They believed that Britain could defend them against pirates, they hoped their taxes would pay for a strong British military to defend them, and they were afraid that if they declared independence that the British would defeat them and impose harsh rule as penalty for the rebellion.

1. they didn't turn against where they came from
2. more than likely if the patriots hadn't been in America, they wouldn't have cared---- so they are selfish
3. At least they picked a side, rather than just waiting it out to see who won
4. Loyalists were more peaceful: they were OK with how they were being treated so they didn't want the revolution

FYI: all of that is BS--- I just made it up...
