None of my friends like camping....
Besides - it's like 'time out' from everyone.
I need SPACE.
And i haven't gone camping for YEARS.

Sorry - i didn't mean to offend anyone.
But attractive women are more likely to be harrassed by men than unnatractrive ones. I see it everywhere..

NO, no worries. After all, only the very sexy women get raped and killed. That's a, "no brainer!!!" j/k I just find it strange ya had to put looks into the equation. That's like saying all the ugly people are safer being alone. Aren't all the less attractive people lucky.

I agree with girlslovecamping2 ... I find that most people that camp are some of the finest people in the world and would go out of there way to help you if you needed it but KOA is a real good option to be safe. Don't let being a female stop you from enjoying what could be a real fun and memorable trip . A bit of common sense and judgment will go a long way. And if you really want to be protected buy personal protection devices that are safe and effective. That is not just for females, that makes sense for everyone . Also I have found that a portable DVD player that can be charged in the car and used in the tent is a good way to catch up on movies and a good way to wind down from the day and give you some good company.

There is an inherent risk to anyone camping alone, regardless of gender or looks. In regards to rape, the myth is that attractive women get raped. Even ugly or elderly (sorry senior citizens) can be victimized. Why not just go fishing and picnicking during the day and stay in a motel or apt. at night?

Tis a shame to waste a opportunity to share the great outdoors with someone else. Private tents keeps things in perspective but to get to your answer, Heck no there is nothing wrong nor should you fear being alone. Just be sure to let someone trustworthy know where you will be and when to expect you back.

You're worried about looks? In the woods? At night? Semi attractive pine cones aren't safe.

Hi sweet. It doesnt matter what you loko like. Bad stuff happens to everybody.
Only you can tell from which campground it is if it would be ok, just stick to a site near the office or something.

Rule 1: You NEVER go camping along. i really do not care that this is "your time", if something goes wrong, you are in a pickle.
If tehre will be people around, fine, but, no hiking alone, no swimming alone, no cave exploring alone

It is strange how you equate safety in relation to ones attractiveness.
You must be very young or extremely stupid. Have you ever read a news paper.
Anyway, to answer you question. No it would not be a very safe idea- for any female. Young, old, slim, heavy, attractive or unattractive.
