Here's your opening sentence: "'Freud was a nutjob who had an indefensible theory about personality,' or so someone told me on the Internet when I inquired how to start this essay."

I don't Know who Freud is but I think you should a essay like that with a question. Like What is personality what does it mean? Is personality a stable thing.. Our minds shift in many ways; one minute my personality or my frame of mind will be happy, and in a split second it switches to anger. So if a persons mind or the ways they think can have an affect on there personality What the **** is personality and what the **** does that mean everyone is special, different. Don't have a theory on personality, because one would have to be completely N-sink with another how is that possible?

right look at freud, he was more to do with the subconscious, itwas not based on testing, it was mainly what happened in the subconscious that a person revealed in therapy, not in a laboratory, now compare the differences between them, and it is also a good idea to look at the similarities, cos sometimes thier are introduce each one, in the introduction and then the main body of the essay, where you put how they differ, the strengths and weakness of each and then close it off with your finding about them. dont make it more complicated than it is if you do not have enough information in book look on web,
