I personally like girls who are respectful and don't try to control everything or always get their way. Sensitivity is important and also someone who isn't judgemental.

Believe it or not, depends on the guy. You would say that guys wants honesty and loyalty, but there are guys that are attracted to suffering with woman and I don't know why. I don't have a list of wishes anymore. To me, no woman is wife material, it doesn't exist such a thing of "wife" material, that's what the majority becomes when "looking" for a husband, so is pointless to look for characteristics. I'm single and never married, probably never will, but I'm so glad I'm still single and never married wrong. So to answer your question, what qualities men look for in a wife?, it depends on the guy, every woman will find her guy and every man will find his woman, there is a match for everything.

someone who looks like you certainly helps
someone who is family oriented
an in shape ( meaning they will not get fat )
who is responsible
can laugh
has a nice smile
manners
takes care of herself
is not born here
not a gold digger
not materilistic
is low maintenance
low drama ( or better yet non drama )
is mature
knows what a man is and a women and tries not to mix role nor blur the lines
BTW water seeks it's own level
so it's not surprising to see well educated marrying the well educated and so on, the myth of opposites attract is true, but they also repel, and thus does not sustain anyone long term, hence the need for as much core compatibility as you can get
people often ignore this and then wonder why we have such high divorce rates
yet studies have shown certain groups retain higher satisfaction rates and higher marriage rates than others
and oddly enough money, education and class status do factor in

Not wife material...when dating I hear the words, "I expect" or "you will" as in I expect to see you 4 to 5 days out of the week and if you want to make this relationship work, you will...
As one poor soul I know, his punishment to make the relationship work is that "you will" get me an engagement ring for my birthday if you expect this relationship to work. (They were only together 4 months at that point) Poor guy has now been given instructions as to who he should and shouldn't associate with and where he can and can't go, etc. if you get the drift.
What do they do that I just love....a dinner just for me that I didn't expect. Communication and cooperation between each other and no demands or else attitude.
What to look for when determining to proceed in a relationship....independence as in she doesn't need me, she speaks her mind in a rational manor and not in an emotional irrational manor, she doesn't expect me to read her mind and is up front with me with things including intimacy, She is active as in getting out and around and tries new things with me and I do the same with her.

i believe in "Choose as thy friend the friend of Virtue." A woman with integrity will be the one beside a successful man every time.
The woman who is not careful who she is intimate with is definitely sending out the signal she is not ready to be anyone's companion.

what types that let you know they arent wife materal . is when you know you cant trust them. as for the ones you know who ae wife materal is very simple. she can herself as well can be trusted . in my opion ?
