I would be extremely happy because Blue Jackets has a good team which goes beyond good young players and that also overflows potential.

I'm really sorry if I do a lot of errors in my answer. I'm native of Quebec and it's for ameliorate my English which I come to answer has questions here.

I'd go streaking down the interstate and laughing hysterically at any Wings fan because we won and they didn't.

To hell with the public indecency charges.

And then I'd wake up and realize, "CRAP. We're not gonna make the playoffs this year. Next year... Possibly. This year there's a snowball's chance in Hell." I've been watching the team from the inaugural season forward and the only bright spot I see (minus the fact that we have Nash and Dougie MacLean's GONE) is our goalies. If Leclaire can stay healthy (and if does sprain something, that means he doesn't play for more than a freakin' weak), he's pretty good. Norrena is the best thing I've seen in pads and CBJ jersey, although that's really not that much... And all I can say about Steve Mason is that I'm not worried at all about the future in goal for a while.

And I still think we'll beat the Blackhawks in the standings... I'm certain we'll do better than the Coyotes... But who doesn't?

Columbus can't play the Ducks in the Stanley Cup Final because they are in the same conference. But if you mean conference final, then I'll understand. But with 58 year-old Sergei Federov as your star...sorry. They may be better than last year, but they're not going to make the playoffs.

If they won the Cup this year, then I will run around naked in my neighbourhood screaming "JACKETS RULE!"

Dude, I'll give you my 1991 DeLong Sharks jacket if they win it. But if you say yes to the deal and if they don't win, then you owe me $100 and you pay it via PayPal in escrow in advance, so that I'll be certain to collect on you. Good luck. Contact me if you want the deal. I'm not kidding.

I would want an immediate investigation about a betting scandal or abuse of drugs(Either by Blue Jacket players or those playing against them). Not going to happen this season

You might want to hold off on the celebrations a little longer. Little longer being measured in units of c years, of course.

You might want to have a peek at the rule book if you get the chance, You have them beating a team in their own conference in 9 games. Or is 5-4 the score for the game?

Shock! Or I'd have to go out and kill myself.

Sorry, but after the hockey hotbeds of NJ multiple times, TB, Car and Ana winning it al of late, I pine for the old days when Bos, Mtl, Edm, Phil, NYI etc. were in the Finals.

Soccer Freak
Columbus won 28 of 62 games with Hitchcock behind the bench................that's BELOW 0.500

Page 48, 2008 NHL Guide and record Book

Nash only missed 7 games last year, even if they lost ALL 7 games (which they didn't) they played with Nash, that is still only 33 wins in 75 games, which is BELOW 0.500 when Nash played. Here's a link to prove it

Nash led the league in goals (not scoring).

As for LeClaire, he is widely discussed in NHL circles as a bad goalie. 6 wins last year in 24 games attests to that.

You need to get your facts straight before you post

i think the blue jackets are one of the top 10 contenders.
dont think im an idiot. listen to this.....

blue jackets
coach: ken hitchkok(one of the top 5 coaches in the league)
forwards: zherdev,NASH,vaborney
D- foote, kesla
and now with peca
and in net leclaire (pretty good propect has potential of about a nabokov i'd say) and norena (who was over .500 last year).

this team was over .500 with rick nash in the lineup last year and over.500 ever since they got hitchcok behind the bench.
rick nash led the league in scoring once and already has 1 nhl record.(youngest player in nhl history to lead league in scoring).

if rick nash can stay healthy there one of the top contenders in the west.

and dont think im just a biast blue jacket fan
I actually am a huge canucks fan.

I'd say top 10 contenders are....

1) Canucks
2) Sens
3)Ducks
4)Pens
5) sharks
6) Flyers
7) Rangers
8) Stars
9) Red Wings
10) Blue Jackets

It would advance my point further that Ed Snider is a bungling moron trying to achieve the impossible - a "Hat Trick in '76" for the Flyers.

Hitch is one of my favorite coaches in sports. When Snider fired him last season, it struck me completely by surprise.
