I'd say that you can't go wrong with a dog house, but that wouldn't be correct. I once built one that used full sheets of 3/4 inch plywood and landscape timbers as the support beams underneath. A few years later when it was time to get rid of it, we had to chainsaw it apart to move the thing.
On second thought maybe a birdhouse would be better.
