Well, when my hubby and I got married in Las Vegas we were debating between Elvis or the Drive Thru. We went with the Drive Thru at the Little White Chapel. If I had to do it again though, I'd go with Elvis.

It's not my cup of tea (have never been an Elvis fan) but I think that weddings are a time to have fun and do something different, I would not call it tacky (who am to judge what is tacky or not?) it's time to lose some of the old stuffiness surrounding weddings and make the day a celebration and fun.

We got married in Vegas in 2001 (nice ceremony-not cheesy). We're going back in 2011 and doing the cheesy Elvis wedding, maybe the drive through in the pink Cadillac

Never. That is only for diehard Elvis fanatics. Such a thing would be serious business for them. But for the rest of us, marriage is more spiritual and serious that Elvis devotion.
