Best way to mail a CD to the Philippines..

I'm looking for the best way of mailing\shipping a CD to someone in the Philippines as a gift and looks like mailing it is cheaper than shipping it with like FedEx.

If mailing it, what would be the best way and who had the best luck with.

Global Express (FedEx Express?), Express Mail international or Priority Mail?

I'll appreciate all your answers, thanks!

I have a Christian Radio Program here in the Philippines and I have had hundreds of Cds mailed to me through regular mail over the last 2 years.

They always get here but some of them get here in 2 weeks and some take 2 months.

They were always mailed in the bubble envelops and there is always at least one that the plastic cover get broken on.

The cost for 4 Cd's in seperate cases is about $16.00

The best if you are going to mail would be to pay extra and but them inside a little box and not use just the bubble packs.

I know you can also send things through shippers like LBC, and Fed-X but I would have no Idea what the cost would be.

If it was sent via courier (FedEx or DHL etc) you would have been able to receive it a week at the most after it got shipped. If sent via the post office (express), it would be longer (but not not 4months!) There should have been a tracking number and an estimated time period provided at the time of shipment so you know when the package would arrive. You might want to check up on that although there is a chance that that package may have been stolen and is in another person's hands. Unfortunately, people at the post offices in the Philippines are not honest (not all of them, though).

First of all, make sure the CD is not locally available. Otherwise you go through all that trouble when your friend can just spend 3 minutes to buy it in a nearby music store.

what kind of cd? maybe if you buy it online like in ebay or amazon or something, it'll be cheaper since it already have shipping fees included.

If you really want them to get it, you'll send it by Fedex or DHL.
