Why should she appologize? Given the information that EVERYONE had.... (and I can't believe I am writting this) She actually made the right decision.

Like the rest of the left, NEVER! It was the lies that the evil President told which tricked these poor, trusting career politicians into making that fateful vote on that fateful day leading up to that fateful...you get the idea. Not one of these good socialists was responsible for their vote.
But such a question would qualify as difficult. Therefore no media type will dare ask it of Hillary in the first place, unless of course they should be told to do so by one of Hills' staff. They might have come up with a really neat answer they want to try out. Hillary already got a story she didn't care for killed, so don't expect anything which is likely to put her on the spot.

No one "authorized" Bush to invade Iraq. Many thought he would try diplomacy before he would do such a deed, and indeed, he gave them as much false information as he gave us. Do you think they, especially Democrats, had the same information as Bush or even the majority party, the Republicans? He even had Colin Powell fooled!

On September 14, 2001, the U.S. Senate voted 98-0 for a war resolution. It states, "The president is authorized to use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on Sept. 11th, or harbored such organizations or persons, in order to prevent any future acts of international terrorism against the United States by such nations, organizations, or persons"
Saddam Hussain was not one of those people!! He was not involved in 9/11 or harbored terrorist. We would have been more accurate if he had of attacked the Saudi's, his friends!
Only one Senator voted against the "Gulf Of Tonkin Resolution", another lie wnich put US ground forces in Vietnam. SOUND FAMILIAR?
"Couldn't be more wrong," Wayne Morse broke in. "You couldn't make a more unsound legal statement than the one you have just made. This is the promulgation of an old fallacy that foreign policy belongs to the president of the United States. That's nonsense."
Lisagor: "To whom does it belong then, senator?"
Morse: "It belongs to the American people.... And I am pleading that the American people be given the facts about foreign policy."
Lisagor: "You know, senator, that the American people cannot formulate and execute foreign policy."
Morse: "Why do you say that?... I have complete faith in the ability of the American people to follow the facts if you'll give them. And my charge against my government is – we're not giving the American people the facts."
In early August 1964, Morse was one of only two senators to vote against the Tonkin Gulf resolution, a resolution remarkably similar to the one the U.S. Senate just passed. It served as a green light for the Vietnam War. While reviled by much of the press in his home state of Oregon as well as nationwide, he persisted with fierce oratory for peace.
Over the next four years Oregon's senior senator was remarkable because he challenged the morality – not just the "winability" – of the war. He passionately asserted that the United States had no right to impose its will on the world. In the process, he made enemies of many fellow Democrats, including President Lyndon Johnson." If the president lies then we all have a problem, and it doesn't belong to Hillary, though I would not have voted for it. Bush had no evidence! JFK did when he had U2 spy photos of Russian missiles in Cuba, almost 40 years before 9/11. Bush couldn't even come up with that!

When will you realize that she got lied to just like you and me. Most politicians authorized because they and we were told that Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction. At that time we did not know that bush was such a big liar. He got reelected for invading Iraq. Nobody looked at him as a bad person then. Why should anyone that voted for his lies be looked at in a different light. He lied she bought it and gave him her vote. What do you suggest we do to bush the liar?

Why would she accept responsibility? She only voted for it because Bush lied! She is only a US Senator for crying out loud. You can't expect a Senator to read intelligence reports herself or ask for any information on her own before voting for something as important as going to war can you? Geez, when are going to wake up?

I hope the day that the DNC gives the nod to ANYONE else. Like Biden or Kucinich. Ugh...They all want troops in there until 2013. Incredibly disappointing.
