I actually saw a documentary about aliens and the whole phenomenon. Long ago, when people first started reporting sightings, they would describe them in this manner, often with greyish colored skin, tiny or no noses, little mouths, big egg shaped heads, ect...So as time when on, this became the image that most people claim to have seen. It became like the most common of all descriptions.

this is because only a few people who have talked to the tabloids have ever seen an alien, and only for a brief amount of time. the aliens described are from one particular race who tries to conduct experiments on humans, and then brings them back to this planet. Most of the inhabitants of other planets to not abduct humans.
If you want the truth, you should watch the documentary "Men In Black". I worked for the government in New Mexico, Both in Los Alamos and Roswell, and can tell you that is a very accurate motion picture

well the logical answer behind that is because aliens are so smart that they stop using their physical bodies and just rely on their brain
think about we humans compared to other animals
we have much higher intelligence so therefore a bigger head, bigger brain and we invent technology to make our lives easier.....easier being less physical work
which also means we are becoming weaker physically
and if u achieve an intelligence level as to an alien, u will have no need of strong arms or legs.....since u have machinery to do everything for u
no mouth, indicates possibility of telepathy
big eyes and bald heads are just for fascination purposes.....if they had normal sized eyes and had hair, they'd look too much like humans

Wow, O have been wrong all the time. Most of the aliens Ive seen are from Mexico and dont look that way.

Because that is how "eye-witnesses" describe them. Also aliens matching that description are called Greys and they are evil.

because aliens have visited the earth and the goverment tried to hide it....but there was a leak and now they just make every alien depicated as that so no one will suspect anything =]
