Laws only work because the vast majority of people see the sense of the law for the good of the public.

If everyone decided to drive 150 mph on the Interstate routes, the cops could do nothing about it--other than clean up after the inevitable accidents.

I obey the speed limit and drive sober, not because I'm afraid of the police, but because I do not want to be responsible for injuring of killing anyone.

I work instead of robbing banks, because I believe that people should have a safe place to keep their money--and tellers should be allowed to do their jobs in peace and security.

Many people who break laws are simply passing the bill to the fellow citizens.

Shoplifters cause higher prices.

Drug dealers (and users) cost the taxpayers millions of dollars in lost productivity, and correctional and medical facilities that would otherwise not be required.

We obey the law because it is to the benefit of us all to do so.

Laws aren't MADE to be broken, but UNJUST laws should be.

some laws yes. such as the drug laws. they were designed to put innocent people in jail. drugs are not a civil problem, but a medical problem. should be handled as such. the US has a higher percentage of its people in prison that any other country on the planet. freedom and america is an oxymoron these days.

laws are made to prevent chaos, however, it would be no fun if they were never broken and many people wouldnt have their jobs right now! speed!

some of them, it infuriates me that there are laws that deal with what a woman can do to her own body...talking abortion here, and if any fool can bring home a bottle of booze, then why can't any fool bring home a joint?
